WLI Women Speakers Initiative

The WLI Speaker Database was created as part of a WLI initiative to achieve gender balance amongst speakers at industry events and raise the visibility of women in our industry.  We proactively communicate with a range of conference organisers to promote our speakers and aim to lead by example with ULI events.   


If you are interested in being included in the database please complete this survey. Your details will be added to the WLI Speaker Database and as such ULI will share your contact details with conference organisers and organisations looking for female speakers at real estate industry events. This data is held in accordance with the “Personal Information Collection Statement” detailed below.

Personal Information Collection Statement
(i)        “Personal Data” in these statements has the same meaning as “personal data” in the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, Chapter 486 of the Laws of Hong Kong (“PDPO”).
(ii)       The supply of your Personal Data to the Urban Land Institute (“ULI”) by completion of the ULI Women’s Leadership Initiative (“WLI”) Speaker Database Survey is on a voluntary basis and such data will be used for the purposes of connecting you with potential speaking opportunities in the real estate industry in the Asia Pacific region.
(iii)       Your Personal Data may be transferred to conference and event organisers, who would like a female speaker or panellist to participate in one of their events and to WLICommittee Members who are involved in the operation of the WLI Speaker Database. Your Personal Data will not otherwise be transferred to any third parties unless it is a requirement to so do by law, for example, in response to a judicial or regulatory requirement.
(iv)      You and your appointed proxy have the right to request access to and/or to correct the respective Personal Data in accordance with the provisions of the PDPO.
